- Question:
Finishing - How can we hide too visible joints ?
- Answers:
- Taken on the same strakes, here are two samples:
- A shows joints closed with a coloured wood putty. The sample is then varnished.
- B which joints were closed with the same putty, but to which a stain was applied before laying the varnish.
- The coloured putty is thus not sufficient to hide the joints. The stain is going to penetrate the putty and so remove the joints.
